The Club's Philosophy
The Longmont Outlawz Baseball Club is a nonprofit organization that was established in 2007 to bring together 7 - 11 year olds and their families in order to develop the youth physically, mentally, and emotionally for ongoing success.  The two team program teaches lessons in academic eligibility, sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and goal oriented achievement.  The instrument of teaching is "America's Pastime", baseball.

On the field, the primary focus of the Longmont Outlawz Baseball Club is player development.  We believe in developing fundamentally sound baseball players which will not only translate to success on the field, but will prepare each player to compete in High School and beyond, if they so desire.

We hold three main tenants to be true in the proper development of each baseball player:
1. Each player must have a personal desire to improve
2. Each player must be given ample opportunity in both practice and competitive game settings
3. Each player must show dedication beyond regular practice and games sessions and be held to a high standard to improve in their individual skill level

The organization places great emphasis on the development of a positive environment in each and every situation.  Each player will be taught and expected to exhibit character traits including, but not limited to respect, teamwork, sportsmanship, perseverance, discipline and hard work.  The program will participate in volunteerism, be involved in the community and the players will be rewarded for educational achievement.

All adults associated with the Longmont Outlawz Baseball Club will be expected to be positive role models at all times, to all baseball players, program members, umpires, and members of opposing teams.  Profanity is strictly prohibited.  All future prospective baseball players  will be evaluated not only on skill level, attitude, and "coachability", but also on the ability of parents/guardians to adhere to the above requirements.

Any player or family that needs financial assistance may apply for "scholarships" that will be granted by the organization to enable them to participate in this program.  Please contact the appropriate Head Coach as listed on the "Contact Us" page.
